clear color shows lint and dust trapped between unit and case
Great case made specifically for the Treo 700 series. All buttons and ports accessible. However, the clear case does allow for lint and dust to show up that is trapped between the Treo and the case. Removing Treo from the case is fairly easy, but the case has a tendency to crack, especially up by the antenna. Also, outer keyboard keys are slighty hard to press.
Nice case though if you want to protect your Treo from scratches but don't want the stickiness of rubber skin cases.
Trash compared to iPod cases
User: Rex Pechler, Nov 14, 2006
There are some _really_ nice clear cases made for iPods, from Agent18 for example. I believe Speck also makes good stuff. This Seidio case on the other hand, is fragile and has rough, sharp edges. Also, it gets in the way and makes it really hard to type. I must say that it _has_ protected my phone on at least one drop, but I wish I hadn't bought this.
Bad Quality
User: Brandon B, Dec 20, 2006
Pros:
Fits perfectly and looks great!
Cons:
Consistantly cracks on left hand side near option key.
I have went through 3 of these cases (version 2) and all 3 have had a crack starting on the left hand side of the case where the case snaps together, all the way up to the option key (all 3 cases). The first case lasted about a week, the second less than a week, and the third about 2 days. I am not rough on my phone, and you might even say I "baby" it. I thought this was something I was doing while wearing it in my horizontal pouch until I read something on the forum here about the rubberized cases having the same problem in the same place.
I would stay away from this product until they come out with version 3.
Horriable Product
User: Dan Larkin, Jan 12, 2007
Pros:
Thin plastic, doesn't fit right on my wx, hinges break easily
Cons:
None
Well I bought this product and I must say i'm very dissapointed... Not only is the plastic paper thin but the case doesn't even fit my phone right. You should be able to just put the case right on the phone but I found myself messing around with it for 10 minutes just to get it on. The first time I dropped the phone the hindges broke... This product is crap and isn't worth the money.
