FAQ: How to unstick keys after a liquid spill?

FAQ #129: How-To. By GeekyMom. Status: Public, 16964 views. Flag for Review

1. Shake all the liquid out of the unit by slapping it against your palm to release any access liquid. 2. It will probably need to further dry out 24 hours to disipate any internal liquid. 3. Purchase a bottle of 91% alcohol from the drugstore and have a baby medicine dropper on hand. 2. Hold the unit in an upright position and with two or three drops of the alcohol drop the alochol on the stuck keys. Give it a few seconds to work its way down into the keyboard then wiggle the keys. Repeat as needed.
