FAQ: Is there any way to track data usage?

FAQ #37: Data Use. By treo.tc. Status: Public, 16847 views. Flag for Review

Yes, but on CDMA Treos only - It's a complete aggregate of data usage, rather than monthly. Enter ##786 into the phone pad then click dial. You'll be presented with a page showing a number of variables including:
  • Life Timer [in minutes]
  • Life Data [in kilobytes]
  • Warranty Date
  • ESN Dec/Hex
  • MDN/MSID
  • Software Rev
  • Hardware Rev
  • PRL Version
  • RPI Checksum
  • Refurb Status
  • Refurb Provider
  • Activation Date
  • Mobile Protocol Rev.
  • For everyone else you can use a third-party application such as TrafficStat to keep track of their data usage.
