Palm announced today that it has opened a new retail store. The approximately 800 square-foot Palm Retail Store will open in Palo Alto, Calif.'s, Stanford Shopping Center. The updated design includes a new accessories wall, and computers where sales experts can demonstrate applications and walk customers through any questions they have.
Palm expects the new store to match or exceed the success of its other stores. Sales through existing stores have been strong, with 95 percent year-on-year for the last year.
In addition to the new Stanford store, Palm Retail Stores are located in three other California shopping centers -- Westfield San Francisco Centre, Westfield Shoppingtown Century City (West Los Angeles), and Valley Fair Westfield Shoppingtown (Santa Clara). There are now 15 Palm Retail Stores in the US.
