Convertible Case

I've never been a PDA case kinda guy. My PDAs have always gone in my pocket, no case, as small as possible. With phones, on the other hand, I've always clipped them to my belt, right there where I could get to them. Now I've got a Treo - phone and PDA. What to do? What to do?

You'll see what I've decided in a minute, but if you're a case kinda gal (or guy), for the Treo you can't do much better than the Case Techworks Convertible Case.

The case is black leather on the outside with felt facing the Treo for some added protection. There is the bottom for the hot sync cable. I seriously doubt this case would work in a cradle.

And there is also quite a bit of plastic, though not so much is makes the case look at all cheap.

Plastic holds the case onto the Treo at the speaker and around the keyboard, covering the application and scroll keys as well (there is a separate version of the case for the Treo 180g that does not have the plastic band across the top). Finally, there is a clear piece of plastic that protects the front and allows you to see the screen when the Treo is closed.

The case is also available with or without the belt clip button and associated belt attachment. We reviewed the belt clip version.

The "Convertible" is an apt name for this case, because you can literally take the top off, so that the case only goes around the main unit (attaching at the antenna), leaving the flip open.
