Usability

The Case Techworks Convertible case fits very well, although perhaps a bit too tightly at first. If you're using the top, it sometimes is difficult to get the Treo to stay fully closed. This seemed to improve over time as the leather stretched out. The best part about this case, in my opinion, is that logos and words are refreshingly absent: just black leather and clear plastic.

Of course, the Convertible case cannot escape the bane of all flip top cases, it bunches up a bit when the Treo is open. This isn't that big of a deal, but you ought to know that it happens. Finally, perhaps as a result of the tight fit, the strip of leather across the top of the Treo never quite sits flush with the unit. It's obviously not enough to worry about.

When closed, the edge of the top slightly covers the already teeny application buttons on the Treo. While I suppose that this might keep them from getting accidentally pressed, it was a little bothersome.

If you want, however, you can ditch the top altogether, by unbuttoning it and buttoning on the antenna loop. The fit on this is superb. This option does seem to leave the Treo a bit more exposed.

The main part of the case has a hard back and leather on the sides and bottom. It fits like a dream.
