The
belt clip is a two part affair, familiar to many cell phone and PDA users: the
nubbin and the clip. The nubbin on the Convertible is small and metal, it
certainly doesn't look like it's going anywhere. It is, however, mounted smack
in the middle of the Treo.
The clip is black plastic and slightly larger than I was expecting--and so the
Treo will stick out from your belt quite a bit. The spring on the clip hinge
feels quite strong and should last a long time.
The Treo slides into the clip with a satisfying click. When the Treo is in it,
it can spin around freely and feels a little wobbly. But I wasn't able to rip it
out of the clip at all.
