Conclusion

UmeVoice has created nothing less than miracles of modern acoustics technology with both of their theBoom models. They absolutely work as advertised and look as good as they work.

The no-electronics and battery-free operation of these two marvels means you'll never have to carry around spare batteries or chargers.

I made dozens of calls with both theBoom models with my Treo 650 and my new 700p and performance was identical with both models of theBoom on both Treos. I also plugged them into my cordless home phone which has a 2.5mm headset jack and they worked fine with that "normal" phone too.

Choose the style you prefer – the more compact earhook and gel style theBoom, or the headband style theBoom "O". Functionally identical, ergonomically different. I hate to slather on superlatives like frosting on a birthday cake, but I was just totally knocked out by these headsets. UmeVoice delivers what they promise, and what more is there to say?
