>> Read Review (Rating 4/5) <<

The Treo communicator is smaller than any other Palm OS handheld. But don't let the size deceive you. This stylish communicator has been jam-packed with features without compromising functionality or ease of use.

Talk The Treo communicator does everything your mobile phone does. And more. That's because this dual-band world phone has all the features you expect in a phone, like speed dial, three-way calling, and call history. Plus, it has extra features like full integration with the built-in PhoneBook so you can dial direct from your contact list, a personal speakerphone and more.

Organize It's easy with this feature-rich Palm OS organizer. With 16 MB of memory and a fast processor, the rechargeable Treo communicator has it all—Date Book Plus, PhoneBook (an improved Address Book), To Do List, Memo Pad, and more. Plus, you can install thousands of other cool Palm OS applications. Already have another Palm OS device? No worries. You can transfer your existing data to your new Treo communicator with ease.

Send And receive Email and short messages. And do it all wirelessly. Now it's easy to read and send email from virtually anywhere. And, if your message is short, you can send an SMS text message to other mobile phone users in your network or even to an email address.

Browse Now you can access the web from just about everywhere. Every Treo communicator comes with Blazer™—the award-winning wireless web browser—so you can access virtually any web site, not just those sites optimized for mobile access. Get directions, confirm your flight, check the weather—and see it all on the Treo communicator's organizer-sized screen.

My pockets are now lighter
I used to carry a Palm IIIxe and a Nokio 7110 cellphone, one on each side of my trouser-pockets. Makes me walk like Charlie Chaplin but I need these stuff to need both road warrior devices. With the Treo 180g, my pockets are now lighter ;)

Good but not perfect
The Treo is a distinct improvement over the VisorPhone and Handspring has done one of the better jobs of integrating a phone and PDA. But there are several flaws: incompatible Phonebook sorting, phone turns off on reset, very short battery life, hard to read keyboard and the SIM is far to easy to pop off. Once GPRS is available the always connected packet access will make the device far more useful to use.

Does it all!
I just junked my Palm, Blackberry, and cell phone, and replaced them with a Treo 180. It works! Easy to use, great form factor, very light weight. Speakerphone is very handy, volume in handset mode is a little quiet. My only other caveat is this. Expect some difficulty getting assistance for the next few months, because you are an early adopter. When I went to get the cell service turned on, no one there had seen a Treo. I even had the celluar service people (Voicestream) CALL me to answer some questions another customer had about the Treo. Also, buy a cell plan when you order from Handspring and you will save more than $150.

Awesome.
It's a great product. While I miss the vibrant color screen of the Prism, the Treo is small and light enough to fit in my pocket, unlike any other Handspring product. It feels about like the Palm V I used to have. For my needs, the great phone with the Palm OS in a small, compact form factor works great.
