Never Go Back To A Regular Cell Phone Again!!! |
I had a Razr and got rid of it to try a PDA. Went with this and I love it. I still have over a year left on my contract and I want another Treo already. I would definately recommend not downloading the free trial software. They don't seem to work write. Great for texting and the internet as well as putting important events and dates into it.

It's a love hate thing |
On the Rogers (Canada) network, the phone is fantastic. No problems roaming in the US. However, it re-sets, crashes freezes, bugs the heck out of me. There's also an issue with the time zones where the thing sets the current time to a time zone somwhere in Russia (which really messes up my calendar). Palm blames Rogers and Rogers blames Palm. I think Rogers is right because my wife's Blackberry doen't have those problems. I'm going to ditch the thing ang get and 8700r.

Great Phone |
I love the Treo 650. The features are great, keeps me organized. Bluetooth is essential. If you need a PDA and a phone in one, this is the best option to me.

Unstable and unreliable |
I need a PDA that is reliable and easy to use. It should help me be more productive, not less. I lose too many calls and too much time unfreezing the Treo 650.

great phone |
great unit for E-mail on a scale of 1 to 10 I would give the "phone" part of the unit a 8 just wish I did not feel like it is going to fall off my belt all the time, an I have tried 4 different holders so far

still better than 700 |
700P has been a disappointment. Not faster, memory problems, can't address more than 2gig SD card, short battery life. I went back and got a new 650 before they all disappear. Even the 750 will be a step down.

Almost perfect |
Recently my mother gave me her Treo 650 since she bought a 680 and i have to say that for me (high school student) its very helpfull in jotting down basically everything and its easy to sync via bluetooth to my Powerbook so I dont have to use any cables, my only complaint is that the volume for the calls is VERY low and as far as i know i dont suffer from any hearing defects so its a big prob. that enables this phone from being perfect

I LOVE MY TREO!! |
Yes Treo has a bug that it resets a lot and you lose your preferences, I recommend reset doctor by hobbyist software, it was well worth the $10, it saves all my data and prefs when it resets, which can be often, if you get that then I highly recommend the Treo 650, I wouldn't trade it for the world. Most people just need to take the time to figure it out, if you take the time to see how it works, it will work great for you.
