Jabra SP500 Speakerphone by Jabra Corporation

>> Read Review (Rating 3/5) <<

The Jabra SP500 builds on the success of the Jabra SP100 Bluetooth speakerphone with improved sound quality and overall ease-of-use.

The Jabra SP500 speakerphone automatically adjusts the volume and compensates for loud environments such as inside a car, so users can have hands-free mobile conversations without manually adjusting the volume, allowing both hands to stay on the wheel while driving. Through a specially-designed DSP (digital signal processing) solution, the new Jabra SP500 uses noise-cancellation technology to reduce background noise and digitally enhance the sound, providing excellent sound quality and clarity. Additionally, a digital volume wheel can be used for manual volume setting, and a mute button provides added privacy.

The Jabra SP500 Bluetooth speakerphone is the ideal portable speakerphone for todays mobile lifestyle and with no installation or external power source necessary, it gives users the freedom to use the speakerphone virtually anywhere, says Jonas Forsberg, senior product manager at Jabra. The intelligent sound enhancement features combined with ease-of-use makes the Jabra SP500 a superior speakerphone providing a truly mobile hands-free experience, says Forsberg.

Providing up to 20 hours of talk time and 480 hours of standby time, the Jabra SP500 has an outstanding operating life and with a full recharge time of only two hours, it can quickly be put back into action. Calls are initiated and ended with a single touch of the answer/end button conveniently located in the center of the device, and the speakerphone supports voice-activated dialing (if supported by the mobile phone). With the addition of a dedicated pairing button, the new speakerphone supports one-touch pairing for easy connection to Bluetooth devices.

The Jabra SP500 has a compact, lightweight design, requires no installation and is designed for a mobile lifestyle. It is extremely versatile and comes with a travel and car charger plus two mounting accessories for easy transport between the office, car or home, making it as mobile as its user. When in the car, the Jabra SP500 is quickly and firmly mounted with a clip on the sun visor or on the windshield with suction cups. Voice pick-up from the pivoting microphone arm is further optimized by adjusting the arm towards the user.
