One tough mother!!! |
This case does what a case is supposed to do. I left my Treo on the roof of my car and drove off. I heard it fall and saw it laying in the street. I retreived it and everything worked perfectly and not a scratch. Even the case showed hardly any damage. It is tough!!

Belt clip too bulky? Add your own clip! |
The Convertible Flip case is by far the best combination of protection, utility and slickness available for the TREO. The problem has been the bulky, goofy belt clip that comes with it. I have solved that problem by returning the case I bought with the belt clip, and purchased instead the case WITHOUT the belt clip. This case just has a smooth back to it. I then ordered a universal belt clip from www.theclip.com. The clip is just $3.99. It attaches with a 3M adhesive strip which purports to hold up to 15 pounds. It is MUCH slimmer and sleeker, and holds the TREO closer to your body without adding a lot of additional bulk. Problem solved!

Excellent design, details and fit are A+ |
Great case. Exceptional fit and great protection for the Treo. With a flood of substandard leather mobile phone cases out there, this design is a refeshing dose of high quality. I made 2 simple modifications to my taste 1) added hole in back for access to "reset" switch and 2) cut the clear plastic window from the flip cover. Too much dust was getting in between flip lens and window and starting to scratch the lens. If you do the same, do not compromise the stitching in the flip cover, just cut a window thru the window as seen from the outside.

Best full-cover case |
I like everything about this case, except...the clip (as compared to the clip on the leather Sprint version).
The advantage of this clip is that it's easily adaptible to other standard clips and dash-mounted clip holders.
The clip on the Sprint leather case holds the Treo more firmly to my belt, less wobbly. Also, it "clicks" as it rotates around and will generally stay in the desired position. The Sprint case is about half the price but lacks the flip cover. A good trade-off if it meets your needs. Note: The flip section on the “Convertible” case will snap on the Sprint case, but with only one snap, and you have a small strap left dangling.
I personally do not like any case from which I have to remove the Treo. Too cumbersome and no protection when in use. Also, I would not waste my money on a case w/o a clip, but I'm a guy. My wife would not be caught dead with a clip on her case (Coach of course, red w/ wrist strap). No case will allow use of the cradle, as far as I can tell.
Conclusion:
I'll keep both cases, but if I had to choose only one case, the Treo III Convertible is the clear winner.

Holster & Flip Case |
It is hard to appreciate the Holster option from other reviews I have read. The Flip case option is what you see typically shown. The Holster option is removing the front cover (front part of case snaps off) and a small leather ring is placed over the antenna and snaps on. I really like this option.
I echo other people's concern over the clip. If I bend down tightly, I can inadvertently apply pressure to the ejector clip, causing treo to be released.
Infrequent occurance, otherwise great case! I bought a second one after I lost a piece.

A beautiful and quality case except one |
It is a beautiful and quality flip case but the back piece is too thick and made the treo so bulky. I wish they will reduce the thickness of back piece.

a perfect design |
I received my case last week and it is even better then I expected. It is a perfect, snug fit and the textured, leather finish makes the metal Treo much easier to hold.

Good to me. |
Though I have cut the middle ribbon that cover my graffti area. General speaking, it is good to my treo 180g.

well designed, compact, and efficient |
Good balance of protection and ease of use. Covers the screen and buttons with clear plastic while protecting the case with thin leather. Excellent product to keep the Treo running and looking new, and a potential life saver in case of a fall.

Practical Case |
I had the case for over 2 months now and I love the case. Even though the Swivel Clip is bigger than the Treo itself it found it to very convenient. I was a bit concerned with the durability of the case BUT it has been flawless. The only disadvantage is that you cannot use it with a cradle, you have yor remove the back portion of the case. I recomend it strongly as it provides true protection for your investment.
