It works! |
I've been using it to view my podcasts and DVD's on the Treo.
I use some optional software on my PC to convert DVD's to fit within the memory space of my external card.
The podcasts I get I don't need to do a thing to as long as they are in .avi format.
I've used other players (commerical) and they did not perform as well.

Really smooth video on 650 GSM |
So far, I have only been able to get it to play avi files (not mp4 or mpg), but the result then is great. I made several phone calls and played 5+ hours using TCPMP, with 30% battery left.

One of the best apps on my Treo650! |
I use it to watch full-length movies on my many biz trips. With compression software from http://www.pqdvd.com/, you can burn movies down to a small footprint on your SD card. I have a 2GB card and have 4 movies loaded at around 250mb each, which gives me room for .5GB of MP3s, some misc apps and east and west coast TomTom Nav5 maps.

Wow, the new hacked ROM gives you FAT32.prc, which allows you to use the new 4 gb cards. Move over iPod nano.
