Been great
I have had 2 650's yes I wore one out and now on my third (dropped it in the tub) they sent me the 755p and I am happy. Love all the features and have now played with the internet, which on the 650 was a waste of time. Seems to be fast and good. Texting was always good for me as well. A solid phone.

I guess I'm lucky, the 755p has been great so far.
So far the phone seems fine. Pages from the internet download so much faster than my (love/hate relationship here) 3 year old Treo 650. A graphics heavy page that I used as a benchmark took 45 sec on my 650 and only 9 seconds on the 755p. Switching between programs is vastly improved. Kind of funny actually in that I used to click over for Versamail and multi task at my desk for the few seconds that the 650 took to switch programs but now I'm instantly on so... Nice. I still wish I didn't have to change to the mini sd cards. I really enjoyed being able take my 2 gig sd card out of my camera and just slip it right into my 650 to view the pics. I know the 755p weighs less but not $45 worth of mini SD less. Most people that I called back to back have said that the clarity is better with the 755p so thats an improvement. Reception on my end seems to be just as good as it was before, which is to say, just great! Reception is good, battery life seems to be better than I expected given most users comments on the boards. Oh. I do wish Palm wouldn't have replaced the right side shift button with the pulldown menu button but, I'm thinking that most users are younger and don't seem to care much about proper punctuation anyway. All in all, (and so far...) I'm happy with this phone and don't see a reason to complain.

Treo 755p
Was introduced to the Treo world when I received my first Treo 700p as a gift from my boyfriend and quickly upgraded to the 755p within a month. I have never had a Treo before receiving one, and I must say I adapted quickly to it. Easy to use and I'm loving it. So far, so good. I have yet to encounter any problems such as those mentioned by others who wrote reviews. Who knows, maybe I'm just lucky.

Why Change? 5.4.9 is fantastic!!
There are some that complain about the fact that Palm hasn't updated v.5 in 4 years. Why? The program works flawless with no problems, and may not be flashy like some OS's, but its the most stable OS out there. BARNONE!!! Windows Mobile 5 was buggy as hell. Windows Mobile 6 now has bug issues. Why deal with that? Palm 5.4.9 is great, and the 755p is the best phone out there. I want a keyboard that's not digital. I want it available right away. I hope the Treo 800 has same design but just half the thickness of the 755. That would be sweet.

Had a 755p for 1 day then returned it
HAPPY 650 user for over 2 years. Button placement & button color changes suck. My favorite loud ring tone is gone. Jawbone bluetooth wouldn't work. Bluetooth was very screwed up and caused many problems. It's cute, but I'll wait for something better.

Seems like a winner...
I have owned three treos, the 650, 700wx, and now the 755p; not to mention a Palm Pilot, IIIe, and Vx. I tried for two weeks to adjust to life as a Windows Mobile 5.1 user, but one problem...TOO DAMNED MANY STYLUS PULLS AND STEPS! The same tasks on the 755 feel like they take about double or triple the time in WM5. The 700wx is a killer phone for sure with a nice set of apps, especially Windows Media 10, but I don't want to spend all day pecking for my email or trying to sort out unthreaded messaging. Palm wins hands down here, and with the sync with outlook capability, I don't think ill be leaving the Palm fold again soon. For you "aged OS" haters, change for change's sake is seldom a good thing. The fact that palm and other programmers have been able to add functionality while leaving Garnet pretty well alone means Palm did it right to start. Don't fix what ain't broke!

Best Treo Ever
I have had a treo since the launch of the 600. Palm took some time to make sure all the little buggy quirks that were in previous Treo's were taken care of. This is a welcome upgrade from my 650 and the EVDO makes surfing the net and downloading large attachments thru Chattermail nice. Everything I had on my 65O works without any problems. Haven't loaded Z launcher yet. It has only crashed when I was running PTunes with streaming music, and tried to sync my Chattermail at the same time. Make sure you have something to manage your internal memory like MTools or Rescue Explorer. Palm still has failed to address that. A larger battery is the only gripe. You will be charging this one every night! It can't get any better than the 755 without a new OS
