Functional & stylish |
I think after the short learning curve, you'll love UP. I love the design. Very stylish compared to boring palm. I like the dial by pic aspect of it. To me its faster than thumbing through my contact list or even type by name. I think its easy to use and would be great if there were a launcher that was similar in style.

Palm could integrate a few UP ideas for Garnet |
Palm missed the boat in not adding something like this to their Access-licensed Garnet 5.49. With a bit tighter integration, this could be awesome. So far it's been stable on the 755P. The fresh look and smooth transitions of this phone overlay are worthy efforts.

spiffy makeover of Palms basic phone app |
Ulimate phone is a lot of Application, some things it does well(explaining the myriad configuration options) some things not so well(not friendly to thumbing). Overall its a step in the right direction. My biggest peeve is a bit of lag since its really a layer on top of the Palm phone app. Its an overlay, not a replacement.
