Too bloated |
On the Palm platform over 1MB is too large not be able to install on a card.

works nice |
I use it when I need to speak to someone desperately (and don't know their phone number or email address) or want to kill time.
It works fine for me and I would recommend it. I love the notification options.

Mundu background operation stinks |
It never reconnects, it disconnects often even when in the foreground. It's simply NOT useful as an always-on 24/7 IM unless you're actively tending to it. And it crashes 2-3 times a day on an otherwise extremely stable 680.

Not bad, not great |
Though the GUI is quite "modern" looking, it also wastes an incredible amount of space near the top, giving your much less room to type and view the chat than other IM products, all to showcase the Mundu label?
The program is also large and bulky and may cause memory issues if you run other programs in the background like Chatter, Butler, etc. Once again, compared to other IM apps, it is quite bloated.
The main feature of Verichat and the reason for the yearly cost was the SMS relay system for background mode to save precious battery life. This service is needed even more today with 3g devices with smaller batteries! Until Mundu gets this feature, it won't really compare to Verichat.
Like I said, it's not bad, but not great.

755 Available |
I'm a light IM user and Mundu has worked well for me at a nice price. None note, a 755P version is available by email to Mundu support.

It DOES work with Sprint & Treo 755p |
I have been using Mundu IM on my Sprint Treo 755p since June 2007 (a month after the 755p came out). Not sure if the version that works in not posted or if you are just working with outdated information. My working versions is v4.0.1 (build 10688).

Multiple Jabber accounts |
I'm still waiting for Mundu IM to be able to handle multiple Jabber accounts at once. As it is, Mundu IM can only handle 1 account of each type. This works for most services but Jabber can easily hit multiple servers and Mundu IM can't handle that.
