Not suitable for Treo 270. |
I agree with txqc2000... I purchased this product for my Treo 270 and discovered that you while you can edit/play/download tones, you cant use them as actual ringtones... in other words, you cant install anything from MonkeyTone on the Treo so it plays when someone tries to call you. Which defeats the whole purpose of the product! It may be OK for users of other Palm devices, in fact it appears to be designed primarily for Palm PDAs (to use in conjunction with Nokia/Siemens cell phones) and not for Palm-based smartphones. I couldnt even send a ringtone to my own phone as an SMS! Until Primate addresses this glaring oversight, Treo users should steer clear.

I downloaded the demo and it crashed on launch with a "ringer database not found" error.

Does not perform as advertised. |
I purchased this software only to find out that it doesn\'t perform the functions that are advertised. I\'ve left several e-mail and voicemail messages with the developer, who has not been courteous enough to reply or send a refund. Avoid this product.
