Overpriced at current quality level |
I've had several Nutshell products over the years and have been very happy with them. I still use some of them. Sometime between 2003 and 2007, Nutshell appears to have downgraded the leather quality from a saddle-grade leather to a thinner upholstery-grade leather. The leather on the new nutshells is noticeably thinner, has an unnatural looking coating and is very flexible (making it less protective).
It also appears that manufacturing has been moved from New Zealand to Singapore. For the record, when asked about this, Nutshell has denied it.
I was willing to pay more for the products that I previously received from Nutshell. However, the quality of the current nutshell is no better than cases I can find locally for under $30 (USD).

Possible mis understanding |
Per my comments below, Nutshell is now trying to reverse the double charge, they claim it was an error on Mastercards end...I will say the case is good

Nutshell double charged my credit card and WILL NOT refund it!! I would recommend that TreoCentral remove them from their site before anyone else gets burned!

Good case |
I got my case quite quickly like everyone else. The leather is really nice - tick and solid, but supple. The belt clip is very strong and took a bit of getting used to prying it over my bely. Once it place, it is very secure and very unobtrusive. I can leave it on all day at work and not notice it. Treo slodes in and out of the case quite easily after a couple days. My only gripe is the flap over the top seems a little too big for my antenna, but its not horrible.

Nutshell Rules! |
I bought several case so I could use the best (the case is pretty important after all.) I used the others for about 5 minutes. The Nutshell never leaves my side. My Treos die and are replaced by the Nutshell rocks on.

great product I recommend |
I strongly recommend the nutshell Treo 300 case. It is easy to get the Treo into and out of and using the loop attachment can be put on my belt soit stays out of the way.

Good luck finding a better case! |
Took 5 days from New Zealand to New Joisey with standard shipping. Fits perfect and is made with real crafstmanship! The only drawback I can think of is that the strap covers the status light if you are connected or not. Would I buy it again? YES! Would I recommend it? 110% Yes! When someone in the US buys something online and it takes 2-3 weeks to ship 2 states away and costs $10 for shipping you better ask why. Great job on the Nutshell guys.
