Palm's Website No Longer Selling Treo 650

Mon Dec 4, 2006 - 6:51 PM EST - By Jennifer Chappell

Overview

According to an article at Palm Infocenter, the Palm Treo 650 is no longer offered for sale on Palm's website. On the website, it states at the top, "This device is no longer available. Check out other smartphones."

The Treo 650, which was announced by Palm back in October of 2004, has been a big seller. Palm has been very busy in the last few months promoting its newest Treo phones, and the time has come for Palm to stop selling the Treo 650 through the Palm website. We've seen this happen time and again with other Palm devices as the newest ones rolled in.

Sooooooo..... Palm is moving forward with its newest Treos, the 680, 700p, 700wx/w, and the 750v. According to Palm's website, you can still trade in your Treo 650 via Palm's Trade-In Program when purchasing a new Treo. If you've got your eye on one of those newer Treos and you want to buy directly from Palm's website, why not head over there and see how much your Treo 650 is worth?
