MotionApps mTools puts eight convenient applications on an icon-laden menu. The company claims performance benefits, but I doubt that. Some of the apps leave me wondering, “why?” But several of them are very welcome additions to my arsenal of Treo software.
The utilities package costs $34.95, a goodly chunk as Treo software goes. For me, the File Manager and SD Card Reader options are well worth every nickel of that, and the other stuff comes thrown in as lagniappe, perhaps for occasional use. Overall, with its easy menu-button navigation back to the utilities app, it’s a nice package and easily worth its cost for implementing a simple USB hookup to a computer, either Windows or Mac.
