Forum member Penny reports hearing about a confirmed release date of the pink Centro from Sprint in this forum thread.

Ok guys... I got a text from a CS rep at one of my local stores here. She said thet they got an email with all the new phones and release dates for them. The Pink Centro will be released on Jan. 6th along with a Red BB Pearl. Not sure if that means release for the website only or stores as well. I will try and find out and let everyone know.

Penny says that the photo was posted at sprintusers.com.

Pink would be a great color for the Centro. I would go for a nice purple or blue shade also if either of those colors ever became available. I think that many people appreciate different color choices. I know that I sure do. It's always so much more interesting and exciting to be able to choose from more than one standard color of device.
