Palm Kicks Off Random Acts of "Wow"

Thu Apr 22, 2010 - 8:51 PM EDT - By Annie Latham

Got a Palm smartphone? Planning on being in a public place (like a cafe, coffee shop or perhaps a bar in Redwood City)? Palm is kicking off "a fun experiment" according to a post on their Facebook page. They want you to pull out your Palm phone and set it on the table for others to see. You might just be spotted by one of their "random acts of wow" envoys -- making you eligible for some great Palm accessories. There was a link to Jon Zilber's post which further explained the "Wow" program.

These Palm envoys could show up in any country where Palm phones are sold. And there are no catches, no obligations, and no strings attached. (Of course, if you’re not using a Palm phone, our roving goodie-givers are unlikely to approach you in the first place.) Just keep your eyes peeled, your ears open -- and be ready to say "wow!"

Wonder if the envoys will be approaching folks who are using a Palm Treo Pro or Centro?
