Overview Sync N Charge cable had become a staple of my traveling gear. Anyone that's seen my poorly updated blog knows how much I love to travel, and over the years I have carried less and less with me, particularly with today's airport regulations. The Retractable Sync & Charge Cable w/ integrated sync button (hereafter new Sync & Charge) lets mobile users perform HotSync operations and recharge their Treos with ease.
Usability
poor design of the Treo 650's HotSync connector, there is only so much that cable manufacturers can do about making a smaller connector. That said, Seidio has done an excellent job at designing a small, unobtrusive HotSync connector. The connector for the new Sync & Charge is noticeably smaller and more contoured than the original Sync & Charge and is light-years better than the pitiful connector that ships with the Treo 650. I now keep the Treo's AC cable in my bedroom for overnight charging but have no clue where the original HotSync connector is at this point. The new Sync & Charge also makes a stronger connection; the original Sync & Charge could be wiggled off the Treo, but the new Sync & Charge makes a better connection and feels more secure.
