PdaNet for Treo 700w now available

Mon Jan 16, 2006 - 5:10 PM EST - By Marcus Adolfsson

With the release of PdaNet for Windows, you can now use your Treo 700w as a high-speed modem for you laptop.

From the Developer

Software to drive your Windows Mobile Smartphone or PocketPC Phone as a Wireless Modem for your PC - PdaNet allows your PC to go online by connecting to your Windows Mobile Smartphone through the ActiveSync cable/dock.

If you own a Treo 700w with any data plan, PdaNet will make it your wireless Internet Service for your laptop/desktop computer instantly - no extra hardware or setup necessary, no need to kill ActiveSync or perform any tricky hacking to your device whatsoever.

Current version supports Treo 700w with EVDO or 1x data plan. Supports for other Windows Mobile Phones coming soon. We also plan to add Bluetooth support later but we do encourage our users to stay with USB for faster download.

Disclaimer: This software does not come with any warranty and we are not responsible for any charges you may incur from your cellular provider as a result of using PdaNet. It only runs on Windows XP/2000 and does not support Mac.

Runs only on Treo 700w and Windows XP/2K (does not support Mac and other Treo devices).

PdaNet costs $34.00
