Another High Level Exit for Palm/HP

TechCrunch's MG Siegler posted a story confirming that Peter Skillman, the vice president of Design at Palm has left the company. Skillman had been with Palm for 11 years and was in charge of the design of the Palm Pre. Forbes did a profile on Skillman and his team before the Pre hit the market in January 2009.

On a positive note, PreCentral is reporting that Daniel Ljunggren is filling the position of Senior Director - Product Management that opened up last January. He will be responsible for "[driving] the definition and execution of [Palm's] next generation smartphones."

Ljunggren comes to Palm with more than 12 years of experience by way of Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications, where he was the Head of Product Management and also served as the Head of Portfolio Launch Execution.
