The Rest

For the first time that I can recall, Handspring bundled several pieces of third party software with the Treo 600. Docs To Go Viewer was included to view Microsoft office documents, several SplashData products, Klondike (A solitaire game), Zap 2016, and my favorite, upon registering Handspring gave a version of PocketTunes (excellent Palm OS MP3 player) away. Overall it was a nice touch, abet the only useful software for me was PocketTunes. I was also able to test a Treo 600 version of Audible. After a fairly messy setup I got things working and was able to listen to several audio books on my Treo 600. I wont go into detail, but The Audible software for Palm OS needs some work. Personally, I think that they should invest their time in making a plug-in to Pocket Tunes, and drop their entire prc.

The included accessories with the Treo 600 are a cable for charging, a cable for syncing that accepts the charger also (same as with the previous Treos), a headset, a slipcase, and the manual/cds. The headset is mediocre, and if I used a headset regularly, I would invest in a better one from one of many companies that use the standard 2.5mm jack. I liked the slipcase, and I found that it was a nice protectant for my Treo 600 in my pocket; however it was such a good protectant that I promptly lost it within the first week. There are also many better cases available for the Treo 600 from many manufactures (what a surprise!)
