Palm taking orders for Treo 700w

Palm is now taking orders for the Treo 700w on Verizon Wireless' network. The device starts at $399 with a new service contract, and $649 for existing customers.

Service plans with unlimited data and 450 voice minutes starts at $79.99.

Palm is reporting that the product is stock, and is shipping normally. The TreoCentral store expects to sell the Treo 700w later this week.
