And up we go!

Tue Mar 26, 2002 - 4:12 PM EST - By Michael Ducker

Handspring sent out a notice to customers today telling them that effective April 2nd, the Treo without a service agreement will be $599. That is a $50 price increase from the previous $549. This only affects the Treo 180, and Treo 180g.

This is NOT as we have previously speculated due to a componant shortage. Handspring tells us they are doing this to give retailers more flexibility. Previously they have (of course) only been selling through their webstore.

Again, this will not effect users who buy a Treo with service plan.
