Forums were down July 25th

Yesterday, July 25th, at around 2pm the forums went down. The server was ok, as it was responding to ping requests, but the dicussion site was not working. We were having troubles with the apache webserver software that runs discussion.treocentral.com. No data was lost, and the site was back up on the morning of July 26th. We apologize for the inconvenience.

The delay in fixing these problems was due to Marcus, the person who runs TreoCentral.com, being on vacation. I was unable to contact him after repeated attempts yesterday. He is the one who has the knowledge to fix these site issues. Again, we apologize for the inconvenience of the down forums. Thank you to the many users who notified me via IM, email, and phone about the situation.
