FAQ: What type of battery does the Treo 600 have, and is it removable?

FAQ #4: Hardware. By treo.tc. Status: Public, 16459 views. Flag for Review

The Treo 600 uses a 1800 mAh rechargeable lithium ion battery. The battery is integrated into the device and is therefore not removable.

However PdaParts.com does sell a do-it-yourself 2000 mAhbattery upgrade that claims to provide a 25% improvement to battery life. Doing this upgrade will void your warrenty.

A simpler way to extend the Treos battery life is through the use of an external clip-on battery pack made by PalmOne.
