Jabra JX10 Bluetooth Headset by Jabra Corporation

>> Read Review (Rating 4/5) <<

In spite of the small form factor, the Jabra JX10 headset features state-of-the art voice reception and clarity. It adjusts automatically to the ambient noise level through automatic volume control. This feature is based on DSP (Digital Signal Processing), which also ensures a significant reduction in background noise.

The Jabra JX10 comes in a fashionable and timeless silver color and is accompanied by a desktop charger fully designed to harmonize with the shape of the headset. In addition, the Jabra JX10 has its own carrying case for safe keeping when not in use.

Jabra JX10 in Summary:
  • Weighs less than 10 grams and measures less than 4 centimeters
  • Automatic volume control
  • Digital Signal Processing (DSP) technology
  • Desktop cradle/charger
  • Storage pouch for safe keeping when not in use
  • Multi-color LED for Bluetooth link, battery and charging status
  • Dedicated pairing button
  • 4-6 hours talk time and up to 80 hours standby time subject to phone type
  • Supports Bluetooth 1.2 headset and hands-free profiles
  • USB charging cable.

Would you recommend Jabra JX10 Bluetooth Headset ?

    Thumbs Down

    Poor Sound Quality
When using my Pearl, never had a call without the person on the other end saying they can't hear me.

    Comfortable Fit with Glasses, BUT..
Loved the fit, incoming sound and ease of use. But, I was very dissappointed with the earpiece. After a few months, a small part broke off, causing the earpiece to slide on the headset. Jabra did send three more earpieces(evidently I was not the only one that had problems with it) But, opverall, I have been very happy.

light on ear, but sounds like a tunnel
I have been through four bluetooths for my Treo 700p: the Palm, Motorola HC700, Jabra 500bv, and now the Jabra JX10. This is the lightest although there is no enough padding for when it presses against the ear. All of them had good incoming sound quality, although I found the two Jabras to be louder and clearer. Alas, all of them -- the Jabra JX10 included -- prompted people to remark that my outgoing sound quality as like being in a tunnel.

Great headset for 700's and up
This is the best looking/working headset for the Treo 700 series. Most of the bad reviews have come from treo 650 owners. 1.1 technology on the 650 might be the cause.

Great headset works w or w/o earloops
Great headset. I use without earloops now (which is an option mentioned in literature) which tend to become non-functional if they are roughed up at all (the little teeth that hold them in bend off). Jabra will send new ear loops if contacted. connects more quickly with 700p than 650 (I belive this is a feature of the 700p)

    Outgoing Sound Quality is Poor
I liked the size and fit of this tiny headset. Unfortunately the deal breaker for me was the poor outgoing sound quality when there was even the mildest background noise. With no background noise callers said my voice was clear, but tinny. With mild background noise they could hear the background noise as loud or louder than me. With a moderate to high amount of background noise the DSP would really kick in and my voice would be digital giberish. I inadvertently destroyed mine attempting to retrofit it with a Ety.com boom microphone.

did not connect all the time
I like the size and fit of this headset but it did not perform as well as the h700 by motorola

    Thumbs Down

Ear loop too small, doesn't fit
Other than that it is a great headset. Stylish, good controls, loud enough. But if it doesn't fit or stay on your ear, what good is it?

    not good
Did not have good experiance, popped and cracked constantly with my Treo 650. Never got a single good clean call.

Best voice quality from me and to me
Great sound quality from me as well as to me. Battery is excellent and has a quick charge as well. Plus you can charge from USB. It was recommended that I purchase the Jabra ear gel instead of using the over the ear hook and that person was right. I could keep it in my ear for hours without any problems.
