Palm Treo Pro by Palm, Inc

>> Read Review (Rating 5/5) <<

The Treo Pro is the latest Windows Mobile-based Treo from Palm. It's is due to be available in Europe in September and available in the US later this Fall in an unlocked, non-carrier-subsidized form for $549. It features Tri-Band 3G and Quad-Band EDGE for worldwide, high speed data as well as GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, a 320x320 Touchscreen and the Treo's signature front-facing QWERTY keyboard that's easy to use one-handed. It is one powerful smartphone, focused primarily on the business user but with plenty of features that will appeal to consumers in the "power user" segment as well.

For many Treo-faithful, it represents the culmination of literally years of waiting, asking, and hoping. The Treo Pro makes good on nearly every single "When will this happen" that Treo lovers have been asking about, including: - A flush touch-screen - Thin - WiFi built in - GPS built-in - A battery large enough for 1 to 2 days of normal use - a standard, 3.5mm headset jack - a standard, microUSB connector Running the latest version of Windows Mobile, version 6.1, the Treo Pro packs more power and more features than any Treo before it (with the *possible* exception of the Treo 800w) into a package that's not only small by Treo standards, but is small by current smartphone standards period.

Good Phone
While the battery has a lot to be desired, its other functions more than outweight the negative! Built in wifi, gps, faster cpu are just a few of the improvements over the 750 I had before. If you need to improve battery life, turn off the unnecessary functions.

All around good
Bad battery size period. It is only 1900mhv which is almost nothing. Everything else in this mobile computer is perfect.9/10!

Worst Phone I've had the displeasure of owning!
Battery life is poor, I get error messages (just like my P.C.) and the features are sluggish to respond. I got the hard sell from the Sprint Sales Guy who I think was trying to clear out inventory of a lousy product!

Battery is a joke
advertises 5 hrs talk and "240" standby. 3rd phone and sending back... love the size, afraid to use features. added up talk time averages about 1.5 hours -- that is if you don't check email, live search or dare to use sprint nav. No way to charge 2nd battery without phone and when battery is less than .25% it will not charge via sprint's car charger. Very disappointed & frustrated. Screen is small as is type. Advertises "voice command" but tech support has never been able to get it to work. troble syncing to 64 bit windows vista. more than 30 hours w/tech support on this phone. SICK!

Poor quality battery life
I have had the first phone replaced after 3 days due to the phone becoming extremely hot after talking on it for approx 4-6min. Then phone was on charger however failed to turn on after all night charging. My second phone after 1 week is now becoming warm after 6 min of talk time and battery life is extremely poor. Battery 100% at 0700hrs :I sent 2 x text message, and 23:44 talk time and battery life was at 35% by 21:00hrs.
